Seeing as you're thinking about trusting me with you health, I better let you know why I am even qualified to do so...
My career began when I found my natural talent for cooking, love of food, and need to fund my stupid behaviour. Although hard it has a good line of work, but it wasn't long before neglecting my health caught up to me. I was in chronic pain from a young age and my shitty lifestyle did nothing to help my situation.
Eventually my knee gave way and I ended up needing surgery and was told I need to find a job that puts less pressure on my joints if it was ever going to heal. So, I shifted my career towards sales, which then led me to get a job at a local gym where I spent a number of years working behind the desk. I began training before and after work and started actually getting pretty fit for the first time in my life! My focus was simply building functional strength and losing the excess weight. I got into a mixture of calisthenics, yoga, strongman, strength and conditioning and some bodybuilding. I never stuck to any particular modality because frankly I prefer like to reap the benefits of them all!
It was during this time is that I truly fell in love with the gym culture and fitness industry. I eventually completed my studies a personal trainer and began working on the gym floor helping clients achieve some insane results over the years.
As you can imagine I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges that come from wanting to feel a certain way, but having some big obstacles to overcome if I wanted to get there. But I did. I have fulfilled my dream of making a comeback after the accident and even competing in a national mens physique competition.
Sounds corny but fitness was always the anchor point for me to continue pushing through those hard days, while being motivated at the thought of who I was becoming.
This platform has been a project of mine for many years as I wanted it to be just right. I didn't want to launch it knowing that it was just like everybody else's cookie cutter garbage. Unlike many coaches you'll find online, I have both extensive lived experience and a lot of compassion for what you might be going through. Not to mention a terrible habit for perfectionism (which works out well for you guys).
I have always envisioned a career that enables me to help as many people as possible feel as good as possible.
I want to be the catalyst that guides you to overcome your setbacks, dismantle limiting beliefs, and cultivate a resilient mindset to enrich all facets of your life.
